Rabin Rabindran is a commercial barrister & international legal consultant and an Associate of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand Inc (AMINZ).
He specialises in major national and international project negotiation and documentation principally in the fields of business, construction, energy and infrastructure development. Rabin has worked on projects in over 25 countries advising Governments and corporations in Asia, the Pacific, Africa and the Caribbean.
Rabin Rabindran is the Chairman of The Bank of India (NZ) Limited and a Director of Marsden Maritime Holdings Limited. He is a former Director of Auckland Transport and Solid Energy New Zealand Limited. Rabin is also the former Deputy Chair of Counties Manukau District Health Board. He was the Chairman of ARTA and the Rugby World Cup Regional Transport Forum. Rabin was also a Director of the Australian public company MBf Carpenters Ltd, Manukau Water Ltd, Tomorrow's Manukau Properties Ltd and TMPL (Flat Bush) Ltd.
Rabin is the Singapore Chapter Chair on the ASEAN New Zealand Combined Business Council (ANZCBC) and a former Trustee of the Chinese Language Foundation.
